Step 1:
Preliminary analysis
The preliminary analysis is our starting point. This quick service allows us to assess your project’s energy potential with no obligation and without producing a report that would require further external verification.
For existing buildings: Preliminary analysis based on your actual energy consumption data.
For new construction: Preliminary analysis based on reference data.
Estimation of energy savings per measure
Calculation of eligible grants (HQ, Énergir, ÉcoPerformance)
Estimation of cost or additional cost

Step 2:
In-depth assessment
An in-depth assessment is conducted when your project requires more thorough technical validation than a preliminary analysis can provide.
Depending on the complexity of your building or the requirements of your grant program, our experts (including engineers) will conduct a customized analysis, simulation, or audit to confirm feasibility and optimize results.
Comprehensive energy analysis with report
For new or existing projects, an official technical report tailored to guide your partners’ technical decisions and meet specific engineering requirements.
Energy simulation (APH Select)
For new projects or major renovations (particularly multi-unit residential buildings), a comprehensive energy study conducted by our experts. This service is eligible for CMHC’s APH Select financing.
Energy audit (On-site inspection)
Exclusively for existing buildings, a comprehensive physical or technical inspection of your electromechanical systems. Our experts visit the site directly to develop a customized energy action plan.
Step 3:
Grant monitoring and management
Once your project has been approved, Accentiv handles the entire administrative and technical process, from monitoring the installations to securing your grant. You don’t have to handle any of the paperwork yourself.

Split-system heat pump
A 48,000 BTU Energy Star Cold Climate-certified heat pump can qualify for up to $2,880 in grants and consume about one-third as much energy as a conventional heating system.
Rooftop heat pump
A 248,000 BTU rooftop heat pump can qualify for up to $49,600 in subsidies and consume about one-third as much energy as a conventional heating system.
VRF heat pump
A 192,000 BTU VRF heat pump can qualify for up to $28,800 in grants and consume about one-third as much energy as a conventional heating system.
Air exchanger
A 5,000 CFM air exchanger with heat recovery via a heat wheel can qualify for up to $85,000 in grants and recover 75% of the energy that would otherwise be lost to the outside.
Windows and sliding doors
A building with 100 m² of high-performance windows could qualify for up to $20,000 in grants in addition to energy savings.
Wall insulation
Increasing wall insulation to R30 could qualify for a $29,000 grant for an area of 1,500 m².
Roof insulation
Increasing roof insulation to R40 could qualify for a $24,000 grant for an area of 2,000 m².
EFV/VFD/Drive
Adding variable-speed fan motors to your HVAC systems could qualify you for a $900 grant.
LED lighting
Installing DLC Premium-certified LED fixtures qualifies you for a $20 grant per fixture and an additional $9 bonus if the fixture is controlled by an occupancy sensor.
