Heat Pump
The installation of a high-efficiency heat pump in an existing commercial building provided access to financial support covering approximately 50% of the equipment cost. A 50,000 BTU/hr heat pump can receive up to $8,400 in grants.
LED lighting
A warehouse construction project installed several hundred High-Bay type lights. The financial support received covered approximately 75% of the equipment cost. This type of light fixture can receive up to $348 in grants.
Exterior wall insulation
The addition of insulation to the exterior walls of an existing building provided access to financial support that covered approximately 53% of the cost of materials and labor, representing a grant of about $0.72 per square foot of insulation.
Heat recovery ventilator
A heat recovery ventilator with an enthalpy wheel of 1000 CFM allowed for a grant of $1,600.
Sliding windows and doors
The replacement of sliding glass windows and doors in an existing building provides access to a grant covering 25% of equipment cost.
VFD on fan motor
The variable frequency drive (VFD) included in a rooftop HVAC unit for controlling a 3,980 CFM fan provided a financial grant of $800.
